Done? Let’s move to the submission process for your designs.
What are the requirements for designs I contribute to VistaCreate?
Before creating a template as a contributor, get acquainted with your selected design brief and join the VistaCreate Contributors Creative Hub on Facebook. This will help you get the latest information on relevant formats, topics, themes, and other essential design guidelines.
Here are the basic rules you need to follow to get your templates approved:
1) Follow the brief
Select the brief you want to work with in the “Design Brief” tab in “My Projects”. Make sure it has an active status. Read it thoroughly and start designing your template. Mind the deadline: you must submit your ready-made template in time.
2) Use VistaCreate content
VistaCreate requires that you use images, fonts, animations, and other design objects from the VistaCreate media library. This helps the team quickly create customizable templates from your submissions. You should also use the available VistaCreate formats to have your designs perfectly sized.
3) Make sure all text is in English
If your templates feature words or lines of text, please make sure that it is in English. As VistaCreate has clients all over the world, the templates you submit should be accessible to as many people as possible.
4) Avoid copyright infringement
Don’t use licensed materials, logos of real brands, inappropriate or sexual content, swear words, or copy the designs of other contributors in your projects.
5) Follow the technical requirements
Use high-quality images, videos, and other materials for your designs; otherwise, your templates can be rejected. Also, make sure you use the formats and settings your brief requires.
Prolonged design review process
Dear Designers,
We want to keep you informed about changes in our design review process.
Here are the key points you need to know:
Turnaround: We aim to maintain a review time of 3-5 weeks. These are the official timeframes, but the review can be faster depending on the queue size. We’re committed to optimizing the process for efficiency.
Brief Limits: We understand the importance of managing workloads effectively. For now, we’re limiting designers to one active brief a week. However, this temporary measure may change as we work through the existing design queue.
Quality Over Quantity: We value the quality and precision of your work. We want to remind you that adherence to client requests and the excellence of your templates are paramount. Please use our design guides and aim for quality rather than quantity.

How do I find out if my template is approved or rejected?
If your template is approved, you’ll receive the payment to your VistaCreate account. Find it in the “Earnings” section on the website. VistaCreate doesn’t send email or push notifications to inform you about the status of your design.
If your work is rejected, you won’t see your payment in the “Earnings” section, and your design won’t appear in the VistaCreate template collection. Note that the VistaCreate team doesn’t inform contributors why their templates are not approved. The most common reasons for rejected templates is failure to follow one of the rules listed above.
You can change your design and re-submit it for review, although you need to make significant adjustments to it: change the composition, color scheme, and design elements, etc. Similar-looking templates with minor changes are considered a violation of the VistaCreate guidelines.
The same goes for the different options of your design. Even if you apply variations of templates for one brief, they should look different in terms of composition, colors, etc.
🤓 Keep in mind:
It doesn’t matter what VistaCreate plan you’re using when designing templates as a contributor. You can use either the Starter or the Pro plan, although the Pro plan offers more tools to create professional designs. It gives you access to 70M+ photos, videos, and vectors, Background Remover, resizing tool, and more.
