How to make a photo text frame
Step 1: Open the editor
Open the editor, go to the Text tab, and click “Photo text”. The text mask will appear on the artboard.
Step 2: Add your text
Double-click “Photo text” on the artboard to access all text editing options. Type in your text and adjust the text size, font, and style to fit your design concept.
Step 3: Add your photo
Drag and drop your photo on the text mask to color your text. You can use your own image located in the My Files tab or choose one from our creative library under the Photos section.
Step 4: Make final edits
Click the editing button on the top panel and move your image to select the necessary area.
Once you’re done editing, click on the Done button and enjoy the results.
How to make a video text frame
Step 1: Open the editor
Open the editor, go to the Text tab, and click “Photo text”. A text mask will appear on the artboard.
Step 2: Add your text
Double-click the text block on the artboard and type in your text instead of the default “photo text”. Select the font and change the text size.
Step 3: Add your video
Select the video you want to use and drag and drop it onto the text block. You can choose footage from your uploaded files or explore the Videos tab.
Once you place your file on the text, you will be offered to trim your video. Set the desired length
and click “Confirm”. Your text will be aligned to the colors of your video.
Note that after adding a video text, your static design will be switched to video format.
Step 4: Edit your video text
Click on the editing icon on the top panel and move your video up or down to select an area. Click “Done” after editing, set the opacity level if necessary, and you’re done.
