For VistaCreate first-timers, editing an existing template is a great way to test run the platform. Once you select the template you like (VistaCreate has over 20,000 of these in the free version) it will open up in the artboard.
(Remember, almost everything is customizable on the template, so you can either just make simple changes on the text or the background image or change it all)
Editing the Background
You can modify the existing background with either your own photo (uploaded) or one from the VistaCreate library. Just drag and drop the image you need on the artboard and the software replaces the old photo with the new one while keeping all the effects in place.
Editing the Effects and Elements –
Any elements/objects such as boxes, lines, masks, stickers, etc. can be deleted, changed, and repositioned on the template. Some templates also come with effects such as color, masking, or transparency, and these are completely flexible too.
Click on the effect or object, and a navigation tab will open up. This allows you to change the characteristics of the particular effect or element.
Changing the Text –
Just click on the existing text and type whatever you want. The font will remain the same when you start, but you have the option of changing it or the size, positioning, and color of the text as well.
